ZONE TROOPER INVASION
General Nuveen Kroll began the invasion by following shortly after the Sterling family, despite that Hal Sterling had handed the access crystal to Nova of Sarlexx to give back to Kroll. He felt that their apprehension was necessary to vindicate himself of their attack on him, and had since become obsessed with their deaths. He was so obsessed with their demise, that he had allowed himself to commit a misstep in Adone, which ended in his being sold as a slave.
He escaped that enslavement with the help of a female Zone Trooper commander, who was the daughter of the Triangular Boot Command, Commander Carnell Zai'Tein. His daughter liberated Kroll three years following the enslavement, and he picked up the trail on them. By that time, Hal had already made it to the Valley of the Slain, and had since returned home with his family. Nova returned the crystal to Kroll willingly, but had to make a run for it herself to prevent him from learning that Sarlexx had become an encampment of Resistance forces.
Nova tried to get the people that ran the portals to destroy the one she went through with her troopers, but they didn't. Kroll had discovered the portals, but had taken the same one that Sterling went through. They were long since gone, but he followed the news reports to find them, no matter the cost. He's had to train his own soldiers to get them to follow him, but he's been developing a cult following for Imaar.
With Hal and June now long since deceased, and the children developing superhuman power, the Meta Human Strike Force is on the lookout for Zone Troopers, no matter who they follow. So far, they have determined that grey, red and black uniforms are the ones they need to attack, while blue and green uniforms will fight at their side, as will anyone fighting for the ZIT Resistance.
In Kroll's absence, the ZIT Command has become fragmented, and the schism is causing civil war in the ZIT ranks. Generals are appearing to execute anyone that's appearing in the wrong color uniforms. Not only have the Zone Troopers invaded our world, but they're bringing their civil war with them. MHSF personnel are on the lookout for any allies they can gain to end this threat to global security.
Note: This is a continuation of the series Otherworld, which sadly aired only two months in 1985. I thought the series could go on, but some exec said otherwise, and the show had its plug pulled far too soon.
